Dutch independent digital design agency Rõnin - together with e-commerce agency Ask Phill - created this cool looking digital platform presenting the first-time collaboration between Dutch streetwear and sneaker brand Patta and Tommy Jeans. Patta x Tommy celebrates the 100-year anniversary of the Pan-African flag, symbolising Black Unity and freedom. This flag was created in 1920 to give Black people in America and the world over a symbol that unifies them.
The campaign - featured on the platform - was captured in Lagos by Nigerian filmmaker Dafe Oboro through his short film ‘Two Become One’. With campaign photography by Moroccan visual artist Hassan Hajjaj. There was also a special streaming - for a limited time only - of the documentary 'Katibo Yeye' by Suriname-born Clarence Breeveld and director Frank Zichem, tracing the shipping route from Ghana to Suriname.
The audience can watch the short film, explore the campaign and shop for the limited edition Patta x Tommy collection. Elements of the campaign are beautifully brought to live with scrolling effects and custom animations - infusing the Pan-African colours and message throughout.
Fierce! Energetic with a strong aesthetic. Pan-African colours beautifully infused throughout. Getting the message across.
