A digital ode to the cinematic memory of the Netherlands

Eye Filmmuseum by

View caseAgency

Dutch digital design agency Bravoure was asked to develop a new style website for the Dutch national film museum Eye - 'the cinematic memory of the Netherlands'. The reason for choosing Bravoure was their extensive experience within the cultural sector, but also their strategic vision with regards to the project: a perfect fit with Eye's ambitions.

The new digital platform encourages the visitor to discover and experience more - inspiring visitors about the world of film. Providing unprecedented access to film programmes, collections, as well as information for professionals, and film education material for schools and students.

It strengthens Eye's position as a (digital) museum, and enhances its online presence. Being responsive to the ever changing digital environment, as well as the digital needs and demands of its users.

Bravoure created a bold and innovative layered design. Mixing a visually aesthetic feel with a more practical use. The new design and navigation truly reflect the wealth and depth of content that make Eye’s website a unique and valued cinematic resource.

Pretty experimental and unexpected layout for desktop. Like the minimalistic and bold approach.
