Slowness: Encyclopedia of the Farm by
Studio Airport - a Dutch independent agency for graphic design and film - developed the impactful digital platform Slowness. A place where the ideas, stories and creative minds of the world of Slow come together. A great showcase for digitally sharing a more sustainable world. Here we highlight the beautiful interactive multimedia piece 'Encyclopedia of the Farm': having a closer look at the inner workings of one of the Slow places: La Granja, Ibiza - a formerly dormant agricultural plot transformed into a working farm.
Slow is a collective of people, places and projects that reframe the way we live and interact. A community of designers, farmers, writers, artists, artisans and architects whose work engages with slowness, towards a resetting of values in hospitality and beyond. Slow takes a localised, conscientious approach to every element in the creation of integrated aesthetic environments. Designed to enrich well-being and model a more sustainable future. Studio Airport is responsible for Slow's aesthetic identity, online magazine and website.
With 'Encyclopedia of the Farm' the studio follows the life of the fruits and vegetables of La Granja Ibiza - from soil to sustenance. Uncovering their nutritional and cultural significance through the farmers, cooks, critters and creative minds who make the farm what it is today. An interactive film that gives you an insight into the world of this sustainable farm restaurant.
